Redwoods River Resort Wedding

Festival vibes in the Mendocino redwood forest

Some couples choose the redwoods because they feel like a cathedral. Iris & Aidan chose them because they hold fond memories with their favorite people. Tucked along the northern stretch of Mendocino County, the Redwoods River Resort offered exactly what they were looking for – a place that spoke to childhood adventures in the California redwoods and created an unforgettable summer memory for their friends and families. The weekend long celebration encouraged guests to mingle with the surroundings and each other.

The whole resort became a guest experience. Hammock zones. Rock painting stations. Limerick trees. Quiet corners for reading. Loud ones for dancing. Every part of the weekend invited guests to settle in.

Summer Camp for Grown Ups

There’s a kind of magic that unfolds beneath the redwoods – and Redwoods River Resort captures it without trying too hard. It’s tucked just far enough into Mendocino County to feel like a true getaway, yet still close enough to the Bay to make travel relatively uncomplicated for friends and chosen family. The slow drive North gives your guests time to exhale before they arrive. For couples who want to be immersed in nature but have the supported flexibility to create a completely custom guest experience.

A Gathering Place

The layout of the resort makes it easy to create a site wide vibe. With ceremony, reception and accommodations all in one location, guests relax rather than worry about getting to the next event. They nap in hammocks and wander between cabins. Redwoods River Resort feels like a summer camp for grownups. The experience is intimate and expansive all at once.
