I had to listen to Katie's voicemail closely since Google's text translator said that she was calling because she didn't like my work... it turns out our robot overlords haven't actually mastered that whole human emotion thing just yet. Katie and Jace planned an out of state wedding but wanted an engagement session that reflected their beloved Humboldt County and included their amazing oversized cupcake (pupcake?) of a dog, Kobe.

I have to be honest, I asked about the dog before I asked about Jace. You know that scene in Independence Day where hundreds of people, the lead actors and a dog flee through a freeway tunnel as an alien fireball consumes the city? My only concern was that the dog escaped. Insert shruggy emoticon here.

Oh and if you are loving on that dress as much as I am - check out Timber Boutique in Eureka!
